Date update

It just occurred to me that I haven't given an update on Valentine's Day. So here goes:

I met up with Asian guy at the St Kilda Festival. I was a little reluctant to do so because this one was just not my type. Namely, he was short and I always think of short guys as weaklings and treat them like shit. He also had little hands and, well, I am CERTAIN that I have mentioned that elsewhere in the blog! It's a no-no!

So, I make sure that I have a friend close by, because I am really not so optimistic about this date. Friend nearby- CHECK

I make sure I look smoking hot, because even though I am not sure whether or not I am interested, well, that's just what you do- CHECK

I keep him waiting at the set meeting point. Why? Because I don't like to wait.- CHECK

And what does he do?

He rocks up in... RUNNERS! I look smoking hot. He is wearing runners. I am so glad that my friend is still here somewhere at St Kilda Fest.

He presents me with a card and a long stemmed rose. OK.... So he digs me. That I understand. That's nice. It might be a little over the top, but it's.... ok.... The date is not ideal, but we'll see....

I open the card. Oh oh.... It is filled with writing about how beautiful I am, how he still tastes my kisses on his lips and other retarded utterances.

He goes to hold me hand. I am wearing flats and I am towering over the guy. His hands are so small I feel like I am crossing the road with a five year old. And..... he is wearing runners.

So, I really want to bail on this guy already, but there's a band I really want to catch so I might as well....

And then, he kisses me. Again. It's average. I mean, of course it is. I'm not really in to him after all. And at the end of the date.... The teeth clash kiss. You know the one. It's painful. It's awkward. It's a sign. A sign that says WRONG WAY- GO BACK. Go back home that is.
