Number 23

Hi

Enter the new guy on the scene. Please note that if I don't keep the old numbering system I will confuse myself, hence, Oliver is number 23.

I have talked to him on the phone. He sounds friendly... he seems kind..... BUT (C'mon, you KNEW there would be a catch). He wanted to know what I liked in a guy. I said I was autonomous and wanted to keep that. He said "So.... you are like a robot then?". I was gob-smacked. A-U-T-O-N-O-M-O-U-S is not a difficult word. He apparently has a university education!

Also.....
He stated that he doesn't date "pretty girls" and that has started me thinking.....Maybe I'm not pretty. In fact, I am now totally absorbed by this fact that I now feel incredibly gobsmacked that I even posted the previous post. If it were the 1990's, I think I would be OK but it's not and that worries me. Now I have an answer to all my questions about why my dates have all been drop-kicks. I'm stuck in a time warp.

Anyway, the date is on Sunday for lunch. I don't now if HE is overly attractive but we'll see. He's funny, so that is a definite plus. Stay tuned!

#4: Soleil's photo is gone! Why? Popular opinion. It was either that or plastic glasses and moustache. Haven't seen that get up for aaages!!!!
